Ambassador
Program?
The Athlete’s Palate is dedicated to empowering athletes by encouraging wellness through holistic nutrition and sports. Our goal is to increase athlete’s involvement in sports and understanding the benefits of holistic nutrition - mind, body & spirit.
Ambassador applications are for athletes that compete in triathlon, running, cycling and/or swimming events. Our athletes promote sport, have good sportsmanship, are involved in their community and lead a healthy lifestyle. They are of all ages and range from recreational to professional.
Through the ambassador program you'll be surrounded by like minded athletes who engage in sports to have fun and lead a healthy lifestyle. You'll receive team swag and one-on-one holistic nutritional consultation to give you the tools to help achieve your optimal performance.

I am a self-employed lawyer, mom of three, runner, triathlete, aspiring yogi, and vegan. I began running about 10 years ago but it wasn’t until after the birth of my second child that I began to consider myself an athlete. I had always had the goal of competing in a triathlon in the back of my head. I think I saw a documentary about Ironman as a child and since then had been fascinated. When my daughter was about 6 months old I was feeling tired, overweight, sluggish, and depressed. I decided that it was finally time to try something new so I talked to my family, told them my crazy goal, and signed up for a nearby IronGirl sprint Tri. In the process of training for that race I lost about 40 pounds, and felt stronger and fitter that I ever had as an adult. After that race, I was hooked! When I became pregnant with my third child, I stayed active and continued running, swimming, and biking through my pregnancy. I am currently training for my first half-iron distance race and my first marathon. I am a vegan because of my love for animals and the environment, and eat primarily whole-foods plant based for my health. I love encouraging my kids to be fit and healthy too. We spend lots of time outside hiking, playing, and finding adventure!

Lauren is a twenty-something working and playing and New York City. She loves writing, reading, maintaining her blog, and being physically active in many different ways. A two time marathoner, 2016 is the year Lauren looks to complete her first triathlon.
